1. Who we are

SATIYORUM is a live-auction marketplace where sellers host live shows and buyers bid on and purchase items. This policy covers both our website and our mobile app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information to operate the marketplace:

• Account information. Your name, email address, username, and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a sign-in identifier and basic profile details from that provider.
• Profile information. Optional details you add, such as a profile photo and bio.
• Shipping addresses. Addresses you save to receive orders.
• Orders and transactions. Your bids, purchases, sales, and order history.
• Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited details such as the card brand and last four digits to display and manage your saved payment methods.
• Content you provide. Product listings, photos you upload, and messages you send in live show chat or direct messages.
• Camera and microphone. If you host a live show, we access your device’s camera and microphone to broadcast your audio and video. This happens only while you are broadcasting, and only with your permission.
• Device and usage data. Basic device information and a push-notification token so we can deliver notifications, along with how you interact with the Service to keep it working and improve it.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to run the marketplace and provide the Service, including to: create and manage your account; run live shows and auctions; process orders, payments, and shipping; provide customer support; keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse; send you notifications about your activity; and improve our features. We do not use your camera or microphone except while you are actively hosting a live show.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the Service, including Google Firebase (accounts, database, and hosting), Stripe (payments), Agora (live video and audio), Expo (push notifications), and shipping partners. They may process your information only to provide services to us.
• Other users. Your public profile, listings, and messages you send in live show chat are visible to other users. Buyers and sellers see the order and shipping details needed to complete a transaction.
• Legal and safety. We may share information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users and SATIYORUM.
• Business transfers. If SATIYORUM is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Public and live content

SATIYORUM is a social marketplace. Product listings, your public profile, live show chat messages, and a host’s live audio and video are visible to other users and may be seen by anyone viewing the show. Please be mindful of what you share while broadcasting or chatting.

6. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications about your orders, live shows, and account activity. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as long as required to meet our legal, accounting, and business obligations or to resolve disputes.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account details, addresses, and payment methods at any time in the app. You can request access to or deletion of your personal information, or delete your account, by contacting us at the email below. You can opt out of marketing messages and turn off push notifications in your device settings.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. International users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, where data protection laws may differ. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
